I know an adult who got stuck on a ski lift when she wore a coat with drawstrings on it (it wasn’t a ski jacket). She hung upside-down for two hours while they tried to free her. So adults also have to be careful.

This is so sad. I was under the impression that most clothing manufacturers shied away from drawstrings now that the CPSC has condemned them. When I was designing the Bloak, some people suggested drawstrings so I know this is a safety issue that people need to know about.

congrats on the great feedback, it looks like you’ve got a great product on your hands. I’ve seen and had this problem at least 100 times. The carts are so badly designed to begin with, there should be a front facing option available for the child’s comfort.

Anyway, cart stopper is helping another problem, the runaway cart!!
